Spooky Fingers with Salmon Hot Dog, Cheese, and Puff Pastry

Create something spooky, delicious, AND healthy — either WITH or FOR the kids this Halloween. What’s more — it takes less than 20 minutes!

These creepy finger salmon hot dogs have the snap of a classic hot dog but are packed with brain-boosting omegas. Just one salmon dog contains the weekly recommended amount of Omega-3’s!

INGREDIENTS

  • Kvarøy Arctic Salmon Hot Dogs

  • Puff pastry dough sheet (from your favorite brand)

  • Cheese or black olives

  • Ketchup

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Cut Kvarøy Arctic Salmon Hot Dogs in half.

Cut the dough into strips. Wrap dough around one side of the salmon hot dog in an uneven pattern, leaving room at the round end of the hot dog.

Carefully, cut out a nail-shaped space at the round end of the hot dog and add a small piece of cheese there. Or a tiny bit of a black olive. It’s all up to your imagination!

Place on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the dough is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes.

Add some ketchup for an extra spooky effect.
