Salmon Burger Gyro

Looking to take an international vacation in your own back yard. Let your senses take you to Greece with this fun Kvaroy Arctic Salmon Gyro!

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 Kvaroy Arctic burger patties, assorted flavors

  • 1 cup greek dressing

  • 3 pitas

  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce

  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced

  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup mint leaves

  • 1/4 cup dill

  • 1/2 cup feta

  • 1/4 cup cucumber, diced

DIRECTIONS

Stabilize your grill at 350F and set up for direct grilling. Install a spit rod through the center of the burger stack and place in a rotisserie unit (or turn every 3 to 4 minutes if you do not have a rotisserie)

Baste the roasting burger stack with Greek dressing and allow to roast until you reach an internal temperature of 155F and you like the caramelization of the roasted glaze on the burgers.

Remove and allow to rest for a few minutes. While the meat is resting, toast pitas over the flame.

Hold the spit rod vertically over a barrable plate or pan and thinly slice the meat in a downward motion so the pieces fall to the plate.

Hold your toasted pita, garnish with tzatziki, salmon burger slices, diced red bell pepper, sliced red onion, mint, dill, feta and cucumber. Enjoy!
